Residents are invited to learn more about the Pang Valley Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) project at an upcoming Q&A Information Evening hosted by Project Groundwater.
The initiative explores how natural features of the valley can be used to manage water flow, guiding it away from East Ilsley Pond and storing it on Dyson land before reaching Compton. Alongside improving local flood resilience, the scheme aims to support wildlife, enrich footpath views, and enhance the character of the surrounding landscape.
The event will take place at the Scout Hut, Cheseridge Road, Compton, Newbury RG20 7PL, on Tuesday 16 December 2025, from 5:30 to 7 pm. Attendees can join in person or online, though places for in-person attendance are limited.
