Apply for a Grant

Each year, Compton Parish Council budget some funds to cover grants to the community. These funds are available so the parish council can make donations to voluntary, community or charity organisations that add value or deliver benefit to the inhabitants of the Parish of Compton. To make an application for a grant, please read the grant policy, then apply using our online application form.

Applications must be received by the 15th September each year for consideration at the next council meeting on the first Monday in October.

A maximum of 15% of the yearly grant budget can be awarded to any group, organisation or charity. Please note that, due to the need to find funding to cover the costs of the pop-up library, that were presented to the council after the budget for 2025/26 was set, the total budget for grants in 2025/26 is £310, and so the maximum funding an organisation can apply for is £46.50.
