Remembrance Bench Reinstallation
The Remembrance bench will be reinstalled on Compton High Street on 27–28 November, pending permit approval. It will return in a new position to the right of the bus shelter.

We are pleased to confirm that the Remembrance bench, temporarily removed during the installation of the new bus shelter, is scheduled to be reinstalled on 27–28 November, pending approval of the required work permits.
The bench will be returned to the High Street in a slightly adjusted position, now located to the right of the new bus shelter.
We recognise the significance of the bench and appreciate residents’ patience while the necessary remedial work has been arranged. We look forward to seeing it reinstated shortly.
