Published: 5 December 2025
West Berkshire Libraries and Compton Parish Council continue to bring library services directly to the heart of the village – with monthly pop-up sessions at Compton Village Hall.
The next session takes place on Thursday 8 January, from 10:15am to 11:45am, and will include an additional opportunity for residents to speak directly with West Berkshire Council staff.
From 10:30am to 11:30am, council representatives will be available at the pop-up library to offer help and advice on a range of council services. Whether you have a question, need support, or simply want to find out more, you’re welcome to drop in – no booking required.
As always, the pop-up library offers:
- A selection of books to browse and borrow
- On-the-spot library membership registration
- The chance to request books tailored to your interests
This initiative is part of a wider effort to make council services more accessible and responsive to local needs.
