West Berkshire Council recently piloted a Pop-up Library at Compton Village Hall, operating fortnightly on a Thursday from 10am to 12pm. To continue this service, West Berkshire Council has requested that Compton Parish Council fund its provision. If approved, the library would run once a month at a cost of £1,475 from parish council funds.
