Today, on behalf of the parish of Compton, we laid wreaths at the War Memorial at St Mary and St Nicholas Church and at the War Memorial Plaque on the High Street. A further wreath was laid at St Mary's Church in East Ilsley as part of the local Remembrance Parade.

We have been notified that SP Broadway is running a consultation on behalf of Archel Homes on the redevelopment of the Baxter Healthcare Site on Wallingford Road prior to submitting a planning application to West Berkshire Council.

Aldworth Road in Aldworth will be closed from 25th to 29th October 2024, the closure will be between its junction with Coombe Road and its junction with Haw Lane.
Unnamed Road from Aldworth Road to Uplands in the Parish of Aldworth will be closed between 14th – 18th October, between the hours of 07:30 to 17:00 each day.
